WE’RE HIRING: Producing Assistant

Producer Hub is seeking a part-time, entry-level Producing Assistant to join a team of five full time employees. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in arts administration and business support on a wide range of fiscally sponsored artistic projects.


Compensation & Work Details

  • Part-time: 24 hours per week; $25 an hour, non-exempt, W2 employee

  • Ground transportation subsidy and artistic experience allowance

  • Location: Three days in-office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) in Midtown Manhattan

  • Start Date: January 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sensitive data reconciliation 

  • Prepare donation reports and process transfers

  • Generate acknowledgement letters 

  • Manage organizational calendars and scheduling, including managing Calendly and sending out Zoom links

  • Take notes for Board Meetings and schedule Board meetings 

  • Compile weekly staff agendas

  • Provide office management support including the ordering and pickup of supplies and other items for the operations of the office 

  • Support Producing Director and Programming Director in calendar management and administrative tasks


Potential Projects

  • Update fundraising  campaign pages for fiscally sponsored projects

  • Clean up account management systems, to ensure all data is up to date, and migrate vendor payroll details to ensure secure data deletion

  • Transfer and organize files in Google Drive

  • Process incoming donations and categorize them in QuickBooks


Qualifications

  • Interest in arts administration, live performance production, or nonprofit work

  • Strong organizational skills

  • High level attention to detail

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new administrative systems (e.g., QuickBooks, JotForm, Airtable, Givebutter, Google Drive)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
