A fiscal sponsorship is a relationship between a nonprofit organization and a producer or organization that provides fiduciary oversight, financial management, and other administrative services to help build the capacity of charitable projects.text goes here

As fiscal sponsors, tax-exempt organizations can provide infrastructure and support for a start up project or new organization, as well as a home for that organization’s donations. Using a fiscal sponsorship offers a way to fundraise and build donor relationships even when your organization is not yet recognized as tax-exempt as a 501(c)3.

Charitable contributions are received by the fiscal sponsor, which then grants them to support the cause and acknowledges all contributions. In exchange for these services, sponsored organizations pay an administrative fee, usually a percentage of all donations processed, to the sponsoring organization.

The Producer Hub supports independent producing projects, programs, initiatives, and organizations that are in line with our values of transparency, equity, diversity, and learning.

At this time, Producer Hub is only able to accept check or credit card donations.

The Producer Hub makes online donations easy by providing each client with a Classy funder page to manage donations, campaigns and transactions. While the donation portal is available at no extra cost, additional fees may be incurred for ACH, debit, credit and international transactions processed through the Classy donor platform. We are able to process physical checks with no additional fees. Fiscally Sponsored Organizations will receive a mailing address to pass on to their donors upon signing on with the Producer Hub.

• The Producer Hub prides itself on personal relationships. Once your inquiry has been received, a member of our team will reach out to set up a meeting to discuss your organization/project and how fiscal sponsorship will serve you.

• Your project/initiative/organization must be in line with the Producer Hub’s values of transparency, equity, diversity and inclusion.

• Your project/initiative/organization must have some public benefit and be non-commercial in nature.

The Producer Hub, in partnership with NYC-based nonprofit The Tank, offers fiscal sponsorship with an administrative fee of 2% of all donations processed through the Producer Hub. This 2% fee is split equally between both organizations.

The Tank receives funds on behalf of fiscally sponsored organizations, and The Tank sends these funds to Producer Hub, where your money is held in a holding account to be used when you need it. This transfer of funds takes time to process and will be sent to your holding account at Producer Hub.

Producer Hub provides regular disbursement reports, outlining your available funds. Requests for payouts and disbursement must be made via email to info@producerhub.org.

Producer Hub will disburse payments on Thursdays for fiscally sponsored organizations by request.

Requests must be received at least 3 business days prior in order to be processed for Thursday disbursement. Please review the schedule below.

Requests received after the 3-day processing deadline will be processed the following week.
